Job Title: Event Planner

DUSHAN FLOWERS INC. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our team. As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing events, conferences, and meetings from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management plans to ensure successful events
  • Promote conference and meeting services or special events to clients
  • Inspect and select sites for events, conferences, and meetings
  • Develop marketing and communication plans to promote events
  • Develop financial procedures to manage event budgets
  • Determine requirements for hospitality services, signage, multi-media equipment, printing, and other technical services, and arrange for and manage contracts for these services
  • Arrange for shipping, receiving, and storage of event materials
  • Assist in budget preparation and site selection
  • Co-ordinate media services, set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details for special events
  • Set up and monitor, or arrange for the setting up and monitoring of multi-media equipment
  • Plan for social events and guest programs
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in event planning, conference planning, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of Google Docs, Adobe Photoshop, MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Outlook
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
