Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at EightSix Network. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing events, meetings, and conferences from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment
- Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and preferences
- Develop and implement event plans, including timelines, budgets, and vendor management
- Coordinate event setup, execution, and teardown
- Ensure seamless communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Manage event budgets and ensure timely payment to vendors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event execution
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, event management, or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in event coordination or a related field
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency in event planning software and tools
