About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker, Building to join our team at Mainstreet Equity Corp. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our buildings, including making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Appliance Repair: Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Safety and Security: Conduct regular safety and security checks to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Physical Demands: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
Work Environment

As a Maintenance Worker, Building, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying locations. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to achieve our facilities management goals.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
