We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at 2611514 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our operations department.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and process customer orders and instructions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient completion of work.
- Track and complete work orders, monitoring the movement of supplies and materials between departments.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Verify the accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries.
- Maintain accurate work records and logs, providing valuable insights for process improvement.
- Perform general office duties, including administrative tasks and data entry.
- Resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Monitor production progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Coordinate, assign, and review work for a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulations, applying knowledge to improve processes and ensure compliance.
- 1-7 months of experience in a related field, preferably in logistics or transportation.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and tracking software, electronic schedulers, database software, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and meeting tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
