Job Title: Dispatch Logisitician

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Logisitician to join our team at VRP Logistics Inc.

Job Summary

The Dispatch Logisitician will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods and materials, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure deadlines are met
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word skills
  • Experience working in a transportation or logistics environment
