About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM and Digital Engineering IDD Manager to join our team at Aecon Group Inc.

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong background in BIM, digital engineering, and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of BIM and digital engineering across project disciplines, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring delivery of BIM and GIS in accordance with Aecon's IDD BIM related processes and procedures.
  • Manage the link between client BIM representatives, consultant BIM teams, and Aecon's BIM team, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain BIM requirements, ensuring digital integration across all project functions and validation reports to verify Information Models in accordance with ISO 19650 and the Institute for BIM in Canada toolkit.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical training and experience in Civil Construction practice.
  • 2-3 years' experience in large infrastructure BIM implementation, BIM standards (ISO 19650/ Institute of BIM in Canada), and model federation platforms (Assemble Systems, Navisworks, and Bentley Navigator).
  • Working knowledge of EHS regulations and experience across all stages of a project lifecycle.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to travel to site and work on mobile projects.

Working Conditions and Environment
