Position ScopeThe Information Systems Analyst is responsible for the support and maintenance of business applications. This role involves troubleshooting issues efficiently and providing necessary training and assistance to end users.
The position may require travel to various locations to facilitate and coordinate Information Systems projects as needed. Effective communication with all manufacturing departments is essential to address their diverse information systems-related requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with end users to determine and deliver the necessary system service levels.
- Assist in the implementation of business applications as required.
- Travel to different facilities as directed.
- Perform daily operations and additional tasks assigned by the Director of Information Systems or the Information Systems Manager.
- Be available for on-call support via cell phone or home phone, which may include evening and weekend work in response to system needs.
- Work collaboratively as part of an integrated team across all departments and the shop floor.
- Associate's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience with iSeries (AS/400) Professional Services.
- 1-3 years of experience with CMS or another ERP system, along with relevant industry experience is advantageous.
- Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously and completing them on schedule.
- Familiarity with best practices for manufacturing, including real-time shop-floor reporting for production, scrap, and label generation.
- Intermediate knowledge of OS/400.
