ROLE OVERVIEW

The primary objective of the Optical Store Supervisor is to act as a pivotal leader within the organization. This role is responsible for achieving key performance metrics by seamlessly integrating the brand narrative and ensuring the optimal execution of customer interactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guarantee that the team delivers exceptional customer service.
  • Facilitate training and development for team members using company-provided resources.
  • Analyze performance reports to devise and implement strategies aimed at enhancing store KPIs, such as:
    • Net Promoter Score (NPS); Sales Performance; Customer Footfall; Complete Pair Sales; Labor Management; Training Engagement; Exam Growth; among others.
  • Recruit and hire a highly motivated team to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Collaborate with the Optometry professional to elevate the customer and patient experience while driving store performance metrics.
  • Take pride in the store's presentation and guide the team in executing all operational, inventory, and visual tasks according to established guidelines to ensure an outstanding customer and patient experience.
  • Ensure adherence to all company-approved safety protocols to maintain a secure and enjoyable working environment.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Thorough understanding of operations, processes, and their business implications.
  • Strong skills in influencing and negotiation.
  • Proficient in team building and management.
  • Knowledge of current optical principles and product offerings.
  • Excellent communication and listening abilities.
  • Solid foundational math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Sales proficiency.
  • Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
  • Ability to manage time effectively under tight deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
  • Certification as a Final Inspector from LensCrafters.
  • Completion of LensCrafters Quality, Fitting, and Adjusting Program.
  • Prior experience in customer service and retail environments.
  • Familiarity with current store merchandise.
  • High level of business acumen, including detailed knowledge of performance dashboards.
