This is a full-time role focused on enhancing customer satisfaction within the medical equipment sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee customer service operations for product installations and service activities, ensuring exceptional performance and supervision where necessary.
- Collaborate with Service Technicians, Installers, and subcontractors to elevate their skills in handling various medical equipment.
- Provide technical support to the sales team as needed.
- Perform duties similar to those of a Service Technician and Installation Technician, encompassing all responsibilities outlined in those roles.
- Supervise Service Zone Technicians while also contributing directly to project tasks.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective leadership of service and installation projects.
- Ensure proper training and performance verification of service personnel through regular checks.
- Assist the sales department with technical guidance on customer application issues and cost estimations for installations.
- Work closely with management to implement safety protocols and conduct training sessions.
- Schedule and coordinate all service and installation work efficiently.
- Audit subcontractor performance to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory levels for service vehicles and warehouses, conducting periodic physical counts.
- Train and develop Service Technicians and subcontractors to enhance their capabilities.
- Act as a technical resource for the sales team.
- Monitor service personnel performance and address any issues.
Qualifications:
- Extensive mechanical and electrical experience is required, along with strong supervisory, clerical, and customer relations skills.
- An Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical institution, or five or more years of relevant experience and training.
- Certification to Level 3 in the ASAPP program and completion of all necessary training modules for the role.
Working Conditions:
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, and vibrations.
- Frequent exposure to risks such as electrical shock and hazardous chemicals.
