- Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Training: Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Resource Management: Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process for food service personnel.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that food and service meet established quality control standards.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare budgets and cost estimates for food service operations.
- Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports on food service operations.
- Order Management: Compile food order summaries for the chef.
- Culinary Knowledge: Possess knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
- Tray Assembly Supervision: Oversee the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
- Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
