The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of culinary services at TIM HORTONS. This position requires a blend of leadership, organization, and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.
- Work Schedule: This is a permanent position requiring 30 hours of work per week.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules efficiently.
- Order food and kitchen supplies as needed to maintain inventory.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates for food services.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Compile and submit operational reports as required.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Supervise the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
This role involves supervising a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.
