About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at 2620547 ONTARIO INC. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, maintain a clean and tidy store environment, and ensure that all products are properly displayed.
  • Process Returns and Exchanges: Handle returns and exchanges in a fair and efficient manner, and provide customers with a positive experience.
  • Work as Part of a Team: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive attitude, and support the team in achieving its objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
