About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restock shelves, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Assist with in-store promotions, sales events, and other initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail sales experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.
  • Work Under Pressure: Maintain composure and accuracy in a high-pressure sales environment.
  • Physically Demanding: Stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly around the store.
