Job Title: Product Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our team at Oppein Cabinetry. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for our products.

Job Summary:

The Product Designer will work closely with our engineering and production teams to develop and implement design concepts that meet our customers' needs. You will be responsible for conducting research, creating prototypes, and testing designs to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
  • Conduct research into cost, properties of production materials, and methods of production
  • Develop and implement design concepts, including computer-aided design (CAD) and manufacturing drawings
  • Prepare prototypes and test designs to ensure quality and functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets business objectives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in product design or related field
  • Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
