Job Title: Product Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our team at Oppein Cabinetry. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for our products.

Job Summary

The Product Designer will work closely with our engineering and production teams to develop and implement design concepts that meet our customers' needs. You will be responsible for conducting research, creating prototypes, and refining designs to ensure they meet our quality and functionality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Conduct research into cost, properties of production materials, and methods of production
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create designs and prototypes
  • Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications, and guidelines for production
  • Prepare design concepts, sketches, or models for approval
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in product design or a related field
  • Strong understanding of design principles and software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
