About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MASK INDIAN KITCHEN + BAR INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Work closely with our culinary team to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
  • Supervision and Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
    • Lead by example and demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control
    • Manage inventory levels and costs to ensure we are operating efficiently and effectively.
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and minimize costs.
  • Staff Management and Development
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled and motivated kitchen staff.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure staff are meeting their full potential.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment.
  • Language
    • English.
Working Conditions
  • Hours of Work
    • 40 hours per week.
  • Supervision
    • 11-15 people.
