Associate Director, Stress Testing and Risk Management

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our Stress Testing and Risk Management team at Equitable Bank. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing stress testing strategies to ensure the bank's risk management framework is robust and effective.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain stress testing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of stress testing models and frameworks to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stress testing results are integrated into business decision-making and risk management processes.
- Provide thought leadership and expertise in stress testing and risk management to senior management and the board of directors.
- Manage and develop a team of stress testing professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality results and effective risk management.
- Post-secondary education in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in stress testing, portfolio analytics, enterprise risk management, finance, or economic research.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in leading teams and enterprise initiatives with successful execution and delivery.
- Strong understanding of AIRB, ICAAP, EWST, MST, climate risk, IFRS 9, financial statements, and retail and commercial businesses.
- Exceptional knowledge in stress testing, economics, credit risk, finance, and liquidity.
