Warehouse Operations Specialist

Ryder Systems is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate transfer of products into and out of our warehouse locations.
Key Responsibilities- Order Fulfillment: Pull orders accurately as assigned and stage orders according to carrier location and verify the number of pallets picked as well as stage location.
- Warehouse Management: Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
- Inventory Control: Perform inventory counts as required and recognize and correct potential process errors before they adversely affect the customer.
- Receiving and Shipping: Prepare receiving, storage, and shipping documentation to retain product accountability throughout the logistical process.
- Safety and Security: Be aware of and follow location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: May be required to train others in various warehouse functions, including the safe operation of powered industrial lift equipment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: One year or more related warehouse experience preferred, as well as one year or more powered industrial lift experience preferred.
- Certifications: Powered industrial truck certification required.
This is a safety-sensitive position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and operate powered industrial lift equipment.
