Middlesex Hospital Alliance is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our Finance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, inputting, balancing, calculating, transmitting, and distributing bi-weekly payroll. Key responsibilities include data entry and checking of time sheets, verifying time coding accuracy, correcting errors, and processing adjustments to employee time and pay. Additionally, the Payroll Specialist will complete remittances for all payroll deductions, reconcile all legally required year-end reports and returns, and prepare billings for HOOPP and healthcare benefits for staff on leaves. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The MHA is a fragrance-free environment.
