Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Drivers: Supervise and train a team of delivery drivers to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate Activities: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of packages and parcels.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provide physical accessibility accommodations, visual accessibility accommodations, and auditory accessibility accommodations as needed.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, and assist with their immediate settlement needs.
  • Support for Youth: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, and offer on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
  • Support for Veterans: Participate in government or community programs that support veterans, and offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, and offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Participate in government or community programs that support mature workers, and offer phased retirement options and mentorship opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Language: English.
