Advisor Services Associate

At Investment Planning Counsel, we're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Advisor Services Associate to join our Operations team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional client service and support to our advisors and sales assistants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage transfer requests with precision and efficiency, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Provide regular updates to advisor offices, ensuring seamless communication and top-tier support.
  • Collaborate with custodian partners to enhance service delivery and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with branch partners, fostering a collaborative environment that drives success.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience processing external account transfers.
  • Knowledge of relevant IIROC transfer processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Post-secondary education or industry equivalency.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience within the Financial Industry, preferably within a dealership.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business preferred.
  • Completion of CSC is an asset.
  • Experience working on the securities operations/client service environment with a good working knowledge of ISM platform and other back-office software solutions preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
