Advisor Services Associate

At Investment Planning Counsel, we're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Advisor Services Associate to join our Operations team. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage transfer requests with precision and efficiency, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Collaborate with custodian partners to enhance service delivery and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide top-notch support to advisors and sales assistants, ensuring seamless client onboarding and transfer experiences.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with branch partners, fostering a collaborative environment that drives success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and excellence in all aspects of the role.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in transfer processing or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of IIROC transfer processes and relevant industry standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Post-secondary education or industry equivalency, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the financial industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with ISM platform and other back-office software solutions.
