Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree in a health-related discipline and a minimum of three years of experience working with adults and youth with mental health and substance use issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of alcohol and drug addiction issues, substance use assessments, treatment methodologies, intervention strategies, and community dynamics. They will also have knowledge of applicable legislation, such as the Mental Health Act and the Guardianship Act.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized treatment plans and interventions to clients with complex mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support to clients.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
- Master's degree in a health-related discipline.
- Three years of experience working with adults and youth with mental health and substance use issues.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
