We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Planning Analyst to join our team at the Government of Alberta. As a key member of our Corporate and Capital Planning Branch, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of project business cases and programming studies.

  • Work collaboratively with Alberta Health Services and Alberta Infrastructure to develop project business cases and programming studies.
  • Ensure projects align with Ministry priorities, goals, objectives, and strategic directions.
  • Prepare recommendations for project approval and support Directors and Managers in project planning.
  • Provide documentation for project announcements, news releases, and government correspondence.
  • Participate in project committees and management teams to ensure compliance with health policy and standards.

Requirements

  • University degree in Planning, Business, Architecture, Health Administration, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in systems planning, policy development, healthcare management, and/or facilities development.
  • Knowledge of Ministry business plan goals, program initiatives, and capital planning priorities.
  • Ability to analyze and adapt to questions, processes, and policy changes.
