Diesel Mechanic Job Description

SANDHER TRUCK AND TRAILER REPAIR is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing issues using computerized testing equipment, and repairing or replacing defective parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized testing equipment
  • Repair or replace defective parts
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
Work Environment:

The work environment is physically demanding, requiring attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye coordination, and standing for extended periods. The weight handling capacity is up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
