About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Family Caregiver to join our team at ArPr + AlGe - Private home. As a Family Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a private home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist children with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Household Management: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Child Supervision: Supervise and engage children in activities, such as games and outings, to promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Health and Safety: Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy environment, including administering medication and providing first aid when necessary.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Availability: Availability to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
