Accounts Payable Specialist

As a key member of the Emco team, the Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate supplier information, developing strong working relationships with suppliers, and proactively identifying common sources of reconciliation items.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Requirements- University or College education in accounting, finance or related field; or equivalent work experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft applications, advanced skills in Excel
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and self-motivation
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
