Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at UDUPI MADRAS CAFE INC.

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • 40 hours per week
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Tight deadlines
  • Standing for extended periods
Work Environment:

The Restaurant Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to stand for extended periods.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
