About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Broker to join our team at DGA Careers. As a Commercial Broker, you will be responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients and team members.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for professional growth and a desire to advance their career in the insurance industry. You will have the opportunity to work with a leading brokerage, sharing and building expertise across multiple kinds of insurance, honing your negotiation skills, and advancing your technical knowledge to facilitate business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to discuss their insurance needs.
  • Identify and communicate the most suitable policy options for clients.
  • Review policy documentation and communicate coverage details with clients.
  • Advise clients on risk management initiatives and provide information sessions.
  • Assist clients with claims and liaise with insurance partners.
  • Prepare reports for clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and build client relationships.
  • Perform data entry tasks with strong attention to detail.
Requirements
  • RIBO license with 2+ years of experience in commercial lines.
  • Experience with E&O, CGL, and office package coverages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Excel.
  • Strong phone skills, including listening and documenting information.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to share knowledge with the team.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to influence decisions.
  • Results-oriented professionalism with a strong work ethic.
