Dairy Plant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Dairy Plant Manager to join our team at Yoveggies Dairy Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our dairy plant, ensuring the highest quality products are produced while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Direct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Lead the hiring, training, and development of employees to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Manage inventory levels and implement cost-saving measures to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work to improve productivity and quality.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Oversee daily operations, including planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the performance of the team.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as dairy science, food technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a dairy plant management or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
