About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at SMS Silencers Inc. in a goods production, utilities, and construction setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and oversight to ensure the company's financial health and stability.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Regional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Financial Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
  • Financial Analysis: Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Financial Calculations: Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting.
  • Cash Flow Planning: Plan short- and long-term cash flows and assess financial performance.
Supervision

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 11-15 people.
