About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our finance and accounting functions, driving business growth, and ensuring the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the finance and accounting team, providing strategic direction and guidance to ensure the successful execution of financial plans and objectives.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth, improve profitability, and enhance financial performance.
  • Manage the month-end close process, full-cycle accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Oversee the implementation of an ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, optimize financial performance, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the finance function in senior management meetings, providing financial insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of accounting experience in a managerial capacity, with a strong background in financial planning and analysis.
  • CPA designation and strong knowledge of Canadian corporate taxation.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth, improving financial performance, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop strategic recommendations.
