Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with Caltech's business objectives
  • Lead the adoption and implementation of new technologies to enhance business processes and customer engagement
  • Oversee the IT department's budget and ensure optimal resource allocation to meet strategic goals
  • Act as Caltech's Privacy Officer, ensuring data protection policies comply with relevant laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • ~5+ years of experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, and vendor management, ideally in professional services industries
  • Proven track record of leading successful IT projects and initiatives, with a focus on delivering business value
  • In-depth knowledge of systems, networks, servers, and Azure cloud solutions
  • Knowledge of IT governance, including policies, standards, and compliance regulations
  • Deep understanding of IT/OT integration and the specific challenges and opportunities in professional services industries
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
