Cashier/Count Specialist at CB Canada
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Cashier/Count Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our gaming operations team, you will be responsible for managing the care, control, transfer, and balancing of financial assets at our gaming site.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patrons, handling cash and voucher transactions with professionalism and accuracy.
- Cash Handling: Count, organize, and secure storage of cash and cash equivalents, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
- Counting and Balancing: Verify and reconcile cash and cash equivalents before and after counts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Reporting and Compliance: Report suspect cash and cash equivalents, and comply with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal customers to provide excellent service and support.
Requirements
- Education: Secondary school diploma required.
- Experience: One or more years of experience in customer service and handling cash, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of cash, foreign currency, and other settlement types, as well as excellent communication, multi-tasking, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Registration: Ability to obtain registration as a category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
