Accounts Payable Clerk IV

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk IV to join our team at PHSA. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing invoices for payment, reviewing vendor invoices and purchase orders, and ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare invoices for payment by reviewing vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims for accuracy.
- Review and verify vendor invoices and purchase orders to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Process payments to vendors and suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vendor accounts, including invoices, payments, and credits.
- Respond to internal and external queries related to vendor accounts, employee expense claims, and disbursement-related queries.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and issues related to vendor accounts and payments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager, Accounts Payable.
- Grade 12, successful completion of a recognized accounting course, and two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to keyboard 45 wpm.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to supervise.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
