Job Title: Finish Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team at DKM MILLWORK DESIGN INC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to precise specifications
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Provide instruction and guidance to apprentices
  • Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in the field of finish carpentry
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
