Key Responsibilities:- Operations Management: Direct and control daily store operations, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
- Market Research and Analysis: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors' operations on sales.
- Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Financial Management: Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize store performance.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, as well as conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.
- Accessibility and Inclusion: Provide physical, visual, and auditory accessibility accommodations, and participate in programs that support persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in programs that support newcomers and refugees, and assist with their settlement needs.
- Support for Youth: Participate in programs that support youth employment, and offer on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
- Support for Veterans: Participate in programs that support Veterans, and offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participate in programs that support Indigenous people, and offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Support for Mature Workers: Participate in programs that support mature workers, and offer phased retirement options and resources to help with retirement planning.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in programs that support visible minorities, and offer mentorship programs and diversity and cross-cultural training.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate, 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, and be fluent in English. You will also need to be able to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
