Software Engineering Manager for AI and ML

NAVBLUE is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of cutting-edge software solutions for the aviation industry. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in AI and ML technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set direction, processes, and procedures for software development in the area of ownership
- Own corporate strategy and align engineering initiatives with company goals
- Lead, support, and coach software factory employees and hold them accountable
- Provide people management, including career development and performance management
- Collaborate with other engineering managers to deliver shared objectives
- Ensure quality in deliverables and drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
- 10 years of experience in software development
- 3 years of leadership experience managing software developers
- AWS certifications highly valued
- Knowledge of SAFe 6.0
