Software Engineering Manager for AI and ML

NAVBLUE is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of cutting-edge software solutions for the aviation industry. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in AI and ML technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set direction, processes, and procedures for software development in the area of ownership
  • Own corporate strategy and align engineering initiatives with company goals
  • Lead, support, and coach software factory employees and hold them accountable
  • Provide people management, including career development and performance management
  • Collaborate with other engineering managers to deliver shared objectives
  • Ensure quality in deliverables and drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 10 years of experience in software development
  • 3 years of leadership experience managing software developers
  • AWS certifications highly valued
  • Knowledge of SAFe 6.0
