About the Role:
NAVBLUE is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead our Optimization AI & ML team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving initiatives related to current and future best practices in software development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement software development technologies, practices, procedures, and policies for the team.
- Ensure our modules and products meet or exceed the demands of the aviation world.
- Lead, support, and coach Software Factory Employees and hold the team accountable.
- Collaborate with other Engineering Managers to deliver on shared objectives.
- Ensure quality in our deliverables and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 10 years of experience in software development.
- 3 years of leadership experience - managing software developers.
- AWS Certifications are highly valued.
- Knowledge of SAFe 6.0.
