About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bakery Team Member to join our team at Le fournil Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and sweet goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Supervision: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Work Environment

As a Bakery Team Member, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 36 to 44 hours per week.
