Job Title: Senior VDC Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Senior VDC Coordinator to join our team at Taylor Ryan. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for coordinating the development of building information models (BIM) and ensuring their accurate representation of the project.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and engineers to develop a BIM Execution Plan and VDC implementation strategy.
  • Understand and implement the owner's BIM/Employers Information Requirements (EIR) and utilize custom software tools to prepare model-based deliverables.
  • Develop project-specific workflows that utilize BIM data for estimating, logistics, planning, scheduling, coordination, field layout, and facilities management.
  • Manage and develop Revit models to contain COBie data for asset management and conduct VR walkthroughs with clients to address design concerns.
  • Work closely with design teams to develop building designs throughout various stages of design milestones and ensure compliance with project information requirements and BIM standards.
Requirements:
  • University degree or technology diploma in engineering, architecture, M&E, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in BIM management, modeling, and related technology.
  • Relevant experience in engineering and/or construction fields, including document production and M&E coordination works.
  • Advanced experience in Revit, including interoperability tools, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and/or Bluebeam.
  • High-level knowledge of interpreting design and construction drawings.
  • BIM-related training or certifications are an asset.
