Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at MAPLE CREST INN. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure our facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare Budgets and Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services and supplies.
  • Coordinate Services: Arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, and renovations as needed.
  • Manage Financial Records: Maintain accurate financial records and process payments for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support to cleaning staff as needed to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, manual dexterity, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability.
