About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team at Global Relay. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions using Java.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions using Java, following agile development methodologies
  • Implement and support business-critical software key management services
  • Write unit tests for Java code and collaborate with testers in development of test cases
  • Support CI/CD pipeline for Java-based systems and collaborate with product owners on user story generation and refinement
  • Monitor and support the operation of production systems and participate in knowledge sharing activities with colleagues
  • Pair programming and peer reviews
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of Java Developer experience
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, test-driven development, and continuous integration systems
  • Experience with dependency injection containers, network protocols (TLS, TCP), and service-oriented architecture
  • Experience with web services technology (REST, JSON, or Thrift) and multi-threaded programming
  • Familiarity with design patterns and experience with any of the following is an asset: security, authentication, authorization, or cryptography, application performance tuning, cloud computing, virtualization, and containerization, or big data technology
