About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at T-Net British Columbia. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions using Java.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex software systems using Java, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and trends, and apply that knowledge to improve our software solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on enterprise software development.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
  • Strong understanding of Java programming concepts, including object-oriented programming, multithreading, and design patterns.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $100,000 CAD per year.
