Senior Backend Java Developer Wanted

Aequilibrium Software Inc. seeks a highly skilled Senior Backend Java Engineer to join our team and contribute to the integration and extension of the Backbase digital banking platform. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects and collaborate with our talented professionals to deliver cutting-edge solutions for our clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a strong team player with experience integrating and extending the Backbase digital banking platform. You will work closely with our designers, product managers, and development team to deliver compelling products and services. Your expertise in Java, SOAP, RESTful Web Services, and microservices architecture will be essential in helping us achieve our goals.

  • You will have a strong understanding of Java and experience working with production-level systems.
  • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications using Java.
  • You will collaborate with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  • You will have a strong grasp of Git, Subversion, and other source control technologies.
  • You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing project requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of production-level experience in Java.
  • Experience working with SOAP and RESTful Web Services, XML, JSON, and RAML.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good teamwork skills and experience performing peer code reviews.
