About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Specialist to join our team at Saihaj Framing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the framing and construction of residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Building Layouts: Utilize measuring tools to create accurate layouts in accordance with building codes.
  • Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
  • Construct Foundations and Install Roof Systems: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Install Windows, Doors, and Hardware: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless and secure finish.
  • Maintain and Repair Structures: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Site Environment: The successful candidate will work in a noisy and dusty environment, requiring attention to safety protocols and adherence to company standards.
  • Work Setting: The role will involve working in various locations, including construction sites, and may require travel to different sites.
  • Physical Demands: The position requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, handling heavy loads, and working in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines.
  • Tools and Equipment: The successful candidate will be required to provide their own steel-toed safety boots and hard hat.

  • Judgement and Reliability: The ideal candidate will possess strong judgement and reliability, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Team Player: A strong team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
