About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Specialist to join our team at Saihaj Framing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials to build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work long hours
