About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Digital Process Automation to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Global Operations & Functions Technology team, you will be responsible for leading the strategy and implementation of our process automation tools, including Pegasystems, Power Automate, and Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive process automation strategy that aligns with the bank's business objectives
  • Lead the implementation of process automation tools and technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process automation opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business partners, vendors, and industry consultants
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise in process automation and decisioning
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience leading IT product portfolios, systems delivery, and/or software engineering teams
  • Deep knowledge of process automation tools and technologies, including Pegasystems, Power Automate, and Salesforce
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with executive stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment
