Standard BioTools is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory Control Intern. As a key member of our reagent manufacturing group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory environment.
Responsibilities:- Accurately and efficiently perform daily functions related to order outflow and inflow within the reagent manufacturing group.
- Document processes, collect and analyze data, and interact with employees and leaders to drive continuous improvement.
- Revise Manufacturing Batch Records (MBR) and label template documents to reflect changes in our rebranding feature.
- Update Bill of Materials (BOM) based on provided information and upload to our system.
- Assist with consumable inventory management by physically moving boxes and tracking quantities and locations.
- Perform cycle counts of raw material, Working in Progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Maintain and organize the work area to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Currently enrolled in a university program.
- Background in Biology, Biochemistry, or a similar Life Science is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Basic data mining and analysis skills are preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to sit, stand, move about the facility.
- Work performed in a combination of shipping, manufacturing, and office environments.
- Ability to quickly familiarize with products and part numbers.
