Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Operator

At Roadway Towing Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Emergency Roadside Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs, including calculating the cost of repairs and new parts if needed.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication with our team.
Requirements:
  • Licenses: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles), and Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
